Mais cela ne repr\u00e9sente qu'une partie de l'interaction. Nous ne pensons pas \u00e0 l\u2019attraction de la Terre envers ces objets du quotidien, car l\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration de la Terre vers ces objets est imperceptiblement petite.<\/p>\n<p>Et nous ne pensons certainement pas aux objets du quotidien exer\u00e7ant une force gravitationnelle les uns sur les autres, car cette interaction gravitationnelle est si faible que nous ne l\u2019avons jamais observ\u00e9e directement. En dehors d'exp\u00e9riences soigneusement con\u00e7ues, il faut g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement un objet de taille astronomique pour g\u00e9n\u00e9rer les forces n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 l'observation d'une interaction.<\/p>\n<h4>Faisons les calculs<\/h4>\n<p>En utilisant la masse gravitationnelle de deux objets, la constante de proportionnalit\u00e9 G et la distance entre les centres de masse des objets, nous pouvons d\u00e9terminer la force d\u2019attraction gravitationnelle entre eux. Pour effectuer les calculs correctement, nous devrions prendre en compte la masse et l\u2019emplacement exacts de chaque gisement de p\u00e9trole et de min\u00e9raux, chaque roche, chaque vague, chaque personne et chaque autre objet sur et dans la Terre. Mais cela repr\u00e9sente trop de travail, donc nous supposons une sph\u00e8re homog\u00e8ne.<\/p><figure class=\"img-caption\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"img-caption__img\" ont montr\u00e9 une \u00e9quivalence entre la masse inertielle et la masse gravitationnelle, ce qui nous permet de justifier de les \u00e9tablir \u00e0 l'\u00e9quation par la distance de s\u00e9paration, r, puisque presque toute activit\u00e9 humaine se d\u00e9roule \u00e0 quelques dizaines de kilom\u00e8tres de la surface de la Terre. Il est bien plus simple de travailler avec <em>g<\/em> = 9,8( <em>m<\/em> \/ <em><sup>s\u00b2<\/sup><\/em> ) que de proc\u00e9der \u00e0 cette d\u00e9rivation \u00e0 chaque fois que l'on souhaite d\u00e9terminer l'acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration d'un nouvel objet. La masse de l'objet s'annulant syst\u00e9matiquement, l'acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration sera toujours d'environ <em>g<\/em> = 9,8( <em>m<\/em> \/ <em><sup>s\u00b2<\/sup><\/em> ) <span class=\"c0\">.<\/span>   <\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c0\">La Terre n'est pas homog\u00e8ne et n'est pas une sph\u00e8re. C'est un ellipso\u00efde avec des montagnes et des vall\u00e9es, des gisements de p\u00e9trole et de min\u00e9raux, des oc\u00e9ans et toutes sortes de caract\u00e9ristiques uniques. Le champ gravitationnel qui entoure la Terre n'est pas uniforme.    <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c2\"><span class=\"c0\">Imaginez que vous laissiez tomber un objet \u00e0 800 endroits r\u00e9partis de mani\u00e8re \u00e9gale autour du globe et que vous dessiniez une fl\u00e8che \u00e0 cet endroit pour indiquer la direction de l'acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration.
